Applymind uses only essential cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. Our cookie usage is strictly limited to what is necessary for the platform to function.

Cookies we use

  • Session cookie (next-auth.session-token): Set by NextAuth.js to maintain your login session. This cookie is essential — without it, you cannot stay logged in. It expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity. It is HTTP-only and secure, meaning it cannot be accessed by JavaScript and is only transmitted over HTTPS.
  • CSRF token (next-auth.csrf-token): A security cookie that protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. Essential for security. Set automatically by our authentication system.
  • Callback URL (next-auth.callback-url): Stores the page you were trying to access before being redirected to sign in, so we can return you there after authentication. Session-scoped — deleted when you close your browser.

Cookies we do not use

  • Google Analytics or any other analytics tracking
  • Facebook Pixel or social media tracking
  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Third-party tracking cookies of any kind
  • Persistent preference cookies beyond authentication

Local storage

We use browser localStorage to store your UI preferences such as column widths in the job table and dark mode preference. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Your choices

Because we use only essential cookies, disabling cookies will prevent Applymind from functioning — you will not be able to sign in. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. This will sign you out of Applymind.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if our cookie usage changes. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
